Real Footage, Bridge collapses after ferry boat hit, Brazil
April 6, 2019. A ferryboat (balsa) collided with a bridge pillar in Brazil’s Amazon region Saturday, causing the span’s central roadway to plunge into the Moju River along two cars and cutting a highway to one of the country’s busiest ports, authorities said. The state government said the five crew members on the ferry survived, but it had no information about any victims as about 650 feet (200 meters) of the half-mile (860 meter) bridge collapsed. It is unclear how many people have been hurt and scuba divers are searching the river. Real Footage, Bridge collapses after ferry boat hit, Brazil
